Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups pecans, chopped fine
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 package paraffin wax
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 75 - maraschino cherries with stems
How To Make chocolate covered cherries

Step 1Drain cherries on paper towels.

Step 2Combine sugar, nuts, butter, and peanut butter.

Step 3Roll mixture into little balls, about 1-inch.

Step 4Poke a hole in the center of each ball and insert a cherry into each ball.

Step 5Gently press dough around cherry, leaving only the stem showing.

Step 6Set aside.

Step 7Melt paraffin in top of double boiler. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.

Step 8Holding cherries by the stem, dip into the chocolate.

Step 9Place on cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
