This is a favorite candy recipe shared with me from my mother-in-law.

Ingredients

1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups kellogg's corn flakes

How To Make cereal candy

Step 1

Combine corn syrup and sugar in saucepan.

Step 2

Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is melted.
Step 3

Remove from heat.
Step 4

Add peanut butter and stir until melts.
Step 5

Add the cornflakes, 1 cup at a time. Work quickly as mixture hardens quickly.
Step 6

Drop by teaspoonfuls on to wax paper.
