Ingredients

2 stick
butter
1 lb
light brown sugar
2 large
eggs
1-1/2 c
flour
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 c
chopped nuts

How to Make BUTTERSCOTCH NUGGETS (SALLYE)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grease and flour two 9" square baking dishes
    Set aside
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • 2Melt butter in sauce pan and add sugar, stirring just until sugar is incorporated

    Cool slightly
  • 3Add eggs to butter mixture, mixing well with wooden spoon

    Stir in flour, vanilla and nuts
  • 4Spread mixture evenly in bottom of greased and floured dishes (to about 1/3" depth)

    Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes

    Remove from oven, cool and cut into squares
