When I was a kid we would go to this Mexican Restaurant and at the table they would always have two pieces of this fudge and it was so good.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar, light
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans

How To Make brown sugar fudge

  • Step 1
    Combine sugars,milk, and butter.Cook stirring occasionally, to soft-ball stage,or 238 on candy thermometer.
  • Step 2
    Add vanilla and let cool to lukewarm.Beat with wooden spoon until mixture loses its gloss;stir in nuts.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a buttered 8-inch pan or pie plate.Cool fudge until firm and cut into squares.
