  • 1/3 c
  • 1/4 c
    maple syrup
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 4 c
  • 1/4 c
    sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 c
    nuts, your choice
  • 3/4 c
    coconut, shredded-optional
  • 1/2-1 c
    raisins, i use 1 cup since i like them
  • 1/2 c
    other dried fruit

How to Make Aunt Mel's Granola


  1. Mix together honey, syrup, oil, water, vanilla, salt, & cinnamon
  2. In a large bowl combine oats, seeds, & nuts
  3. Bake on jelly roll pans in a 350 degree oven till golden brown.
  4. After done cooking add coconut, raisins, & dried fruit. Cool completely & stir with a fork
