How to Make Almond Roca
- Put together in a saucepan 1 pound of butter and 2 cups of sugar. Boil slowly til mixture reaches the hard crack stage. Spread out on large piece of foil very thin, Sprinkle with almonds.
- Melt in a saucepan 3 large hershey bars. Spread over mixture, Sprinkle on more almonds. Cool overnight. Turn over and repeat above process. When completely cool. Break into pieces and eat.
- Remember 6 large hershey bars or 1 1/2 pounds. Buy unshelled almonds, they are cheaper. Be sure to have foil and almonds ready before you start cooking as it sets up fast.
