My Grandpa W's sister, Nellie, shared this recipe. It is like a fudge, sweet and nutty, that you put into a loaf pan.

Stove Top

Ingredients

  • 6 c
    sugar
  • 1 large
    can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 small
    can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 small
    light karo corn syrup, 2 cups
  • 1/2 lb
    butter (use real butter)
  • 2 c
    nuts
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make 5 Pound Loaf Candy, Aunt Nellie's

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook all but nuts to soft ball stage like fudge. Set out to cool. Beat until thick and put in loaf pan with the nuts.
