Ingredients For 20 minute fudge

2 csugar

2/3 cevaporated milk (5 oz can)

1/2 cunsalted butter

12 lgmarshmallows

pinchsalt

1 csemisweet chocolate chips

1 ctoasted nuts, chopped (walnuts, pecans, macademias))

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make 20 minute fudge

1Butter an 8 inch square pan. Set aside.

2Note: To make cutting easy, you can line the pan with parchment, allowing plenty of overhang to lift the cooled fudge from the pan. Be sure to butter the parchment after fitting into the pan.

3In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, butter, marshmallows and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil. Continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

4Add the chocolate chips to the saucepan. stir until the chocolate melts completely. Stir in the nuts and vanilla.

5Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Allow to cool completely and then cut into squares. Makes about 2 pounds of fudge.
