Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk (5 oz can)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 12 large marshmallows
- pinch salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup toasted nuts, chopped (walnuts, pecans, macademias))
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make 20 minute fudge

Step 1Butter an 8 inch square pan. Set aside.

Step 2Note: To make cutting easy, you can line the pan with parchment, allowing plenty of overhang to lift the cooled fudge from the pan. Be sure to butter the parchment after fitting into the pan.

Step 3In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, butter, marshmallows and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil. Continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Step 4Add the chocolate chips to the saucepan. stir until the chocolate melts completely. Stir in the nuts and vanilla.

Step 5Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Allow to cool completely and then cut into squares. Makes about 2 pounds of fudge.
