My husband is a chocolate-aholic and this is a recipe I make for him on special occasions - like his birthday. It is very easy to make.

Ingredients

1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons baking chocolate, dark divided
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 3/4 cups hot water
- whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

How To Make yummy hot fudge cake

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons of the dark cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in the milk, oil and vanilla until smooth.

Step 2

Spread in an ungreased 9 inch square baking pan. Combine the brown sugar and the remaining cocoa; spinkle over batter. Pour hot water over all DO NOT STIR. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Serve warm and top with whipped cream or ice cream. Yummy! Enjoy!
