turbano sugar

baking soda
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
5 Tbsp
coconut oil
1/2 c
unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 medium
ripe bananas
2 Tbsp
almond milk
1/4 c
chopped walnuts

How to Make Whole Wheat Vegan Banana Walnut Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 300F and lightly grease a 9x9 glass baking pan.
  • 2Combine all dry ingredients except for the walnuts in a large mixing bowl and whisk until they are well-mixed.
  • 3Process the bananas in a food processor until smooth, then add oil, applesauce, and vanilla, processing until they are well mixed.
  • 4Fold the banana mixture into the dry mix, adding the almond milk one tablespoon at a time until you have reached the proper consistency. Fold in the walnuts (optional)
  • 5Transfer the batter into the pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is firm and a toothpick comes out clean.
