Imagined this combination as I made cupcakes for an Independence Day party...words such as "amazing" and "my cupcakes never taste like THIS!!" were flying out of people's mouths when they weren't filled with a cupcake!

Ingredients
- CUPCAKES
- 1 - duncan hines french vanilla cake mix
- - ingredients to make the cake
- CUPCAKE FILLING
- 1-8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 6 ounces vanilla or white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- CREAM CHEESE ICING
- 2-8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick salted butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make white chocolate cheesecake filled vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting

Step 1Make cake mix according to directions on box for cupcakes. Fill lined cupcake tins 1/2 full.

Step 2Mix cream cheese, egg, sugar and white chocolate chips until well blended.

Step 3Add chips and beat for 3 minutes.

Step 4Drop a tablespoon of cream cheese mixture into each half filled cupcake liner.

Step 5Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.

Step 6While cupcakes are baking, cream together butter, cream cheese and vanilla, add confectioners' sugar 1 cup at at time, beat until fluffy.

Step 7Once cupcakes are completely cooled, frost with cream cheese icing.
