Ingredients
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup crisco - plus
- 2 tablespoons crisco
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons clear vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make "wedding" cake frosting

Step 1Blend all ingredients at low speed on mixer till well blended and easy to work with. (Min. 10 minutes for it not to taste "greasy". Water can be added a tablespoon at a time if it's too thick to spread or pipe.) You can also add flavorings to the frosting. For this amount, I would start with 1/4 tsp then add more if needed.

Step 2Spread on the cake after the cake is completely cooled. This is enough frosting for 1 - 2 layer cake or 1 sheet cake.
