Ingredients

1 box
red velvet cake mix
1/3 c
vegetable oil
5
eggs
1 c
water
1 (8 oz) pkg
cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1 (14 oz) can(s)
sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 oz) can(s)
cream cheese frosting

How to Make Velvet Ribbon Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray Bundt pan with no stick baking spray and dust with scant amount of flour.
  • 2Prepare cake according to directions on box, using water, oil and 3 of the eggs. Pour into prepared pan.
  • 3Beat cream cheese and flour with mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, sweetened condensed milk and remaining 2 eggs. Beat until smooth. Spread mixture over cake batter.
  • 4Bake 60 to 65 minutes. Cool 1 hour. Remove from pan. Cool completely on rack.

    Place cream cheese frosting in microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 1 minute. Stir until melted and smooth and pour over cake. Enjoy
