vanilla frosted banana cake
I used to make this recipe into banana bars using a 15-in.x 10-in. x1-in pan. But recently made it and didn't have that size pan anymore so I used a dirrernt size pan and it made a wonderfully rich dense cake that my husband really likes.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or maragrine
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1-1/2 cup ripe bananas, mashed, about 3 medium
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt
How To Make vanilla frosted banana cake

Step 1In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Step 2Pour into greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Frost when completely cool.
