vanilla brownies

I love anything vanilla!! and these are wonderful. Like a fat chewy sugar cookie.

Ingredients

  • BROWNIES
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 12 ounces white chocolate baking squares, or 12 oz white chocolate baking chips
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste, ( you can use vanilla extract)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 medium eggs
  • GLAZE
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoon warm milk

How To Make vanilla brownies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour one 13x9 inch pan, ( I use Pam with flour)
  • Step 2
    Heat butter and white chocolate over low heat, stirring frequently just until melted. ( mixture may look curdled)Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 10 minutes
  • Step 3
    with a large spoon stir in the rest of the ingredients until well blended
  • Step 4
    Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool completely
  • Step 5
    In a medium bowl mix all glaze ingredient until smooth and spreadable. spread glaze over the cooled brownies.
