I have served this sweet little quick & easy TEA CAKE recipe to my friends many times.
You will always have a ready desert recipe to make when friends or neighbors are coming over for a visit. To serve with coffee or tea.
All you need is a can of fruit!
You can use any canned pie filling.
I love the apple and the blueberry version also.

1/2 c
vegetable oil
1 c
sugar....or less
1 tsp
1 can(s)
21 ounce...your choiyour choice apple.cherry. bluberry...etc. pie filling
1 c
chopped nuts............if wanted

How to Make TRIPLE BERRY- TEA CAKE w/ canned pie fruit


  • 1Pre-heat oven to 350.
    In a medium size bowl sift flour,baking soda,
    salt and cinnamon togrther.
  • 2In another larger bowl...
    Mix together oil, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
    ****Taste the canned fruit, and adjust the
    sugar according to your taste.
  • 3Gradually add egg mixture to the sifted ingredients.
    Fold in the pie filling, and nuts if wanted.
  • 4Pour batter into2 2 loaf pans.
    Bake 1 hour. cool 10 minutes.
    Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
