- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 can fruit cocktail in syrup (16 oz can)
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- INGREDIENTS FOR THE ICING:
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup coconut
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk

Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES. GREASE AND FLOUR A 9 X 13 PAN. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT BROWN SUGAR AND NUTS.

Step 2POUR BATTER INTO THE 9 X 13 PAN. COMBINE BROWN SUGAR AND NUTS AND SPRINKLE OVER BATTER.

Step 3BAKE FOR 40 MINUTES.

Step 4REMOVE CAKE FROM OVEN. THEN FIX THE ICING. BOIL COCONUT ICING IN A SAUCE PAN FOR 2 MINUTES. SPOON OVER CAKE WHILE HOT.
