Ingredients

1 cup margarine
1 cup water
4 tablespoons cocoa, unsweetened
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 - eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking soda

How To Make texas sheet cake

Step 1

Bring water,cocoa, and margarine to a boil.

Step 2

Add mixture to flour, sugar and salt.
Step 3

Mix eggs, sour cream and baking soda separately and then add to mixture and mix well.
Step 4

For thinner sheet cake, grease 10 x 15" cookie sheet, or 11 x 13" cake pan for thicker sheet.
Step 5

Bake at 350 degrees for 15- 25 minutes, depending on thickness of cake.
