i love fresh fruit from the orchard, luckily we recently moved and are about 1/2 mile from a wonderful orchard! i had some blueberry compote left over from homemade pancakes last weekend and did not want to waste it so i decided to bake a regular cake and add my own flavors! i also made a special "topping" using cool whip, cream cheese and some of the juice from the blueberries. (pictures to come, currently in oven, smells heavenly)

2 teaspoons baking soda

How To Make summer blueberry cake

Step 1

preheat oven according to box. grease a 13x9 baking pan/dish. gather ing according to box, including extra's

Step 2

Sift dry ing together into large mixing bowl, add wet ing mix according to package. Stir in fresh fruit, stir until just combined, cook to package directions.
Step 3

if frosting let cool COMPLETELY
