Ingredients
- 1 box 18.5 oz white cake mix (i use duncan hines)
- 1 box 3 oz strawberry jello
- 1 package 10 oz frozen strawberries in syrup pureed
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE ICING
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 1 package 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree
- 1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract
- 7 cups confectioners' sugar
How To Make strawberry cake with strawberry cream cheese icing

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Lightly grease 2 round 9" cake pans with Pam.

Step 3In a large bowl combine cake mix and jello and mix until combined.

Step 4Add 10 oz pureed strawberries, eggs, oil and water. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until smooth.

Step 5Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 6Cool in pans for 10 minutes then remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.

Step 7To make icing. Beat butter and cream cheese in a large bowl on medium speed until creamy.

Step 8Beat in strawberry puree and extract, scraping sides of bowl if needed.

Step 9Gradually add confectioners' sugar and beat until smooth.

Step 10Ice cooled cake.
