This is a great dessert for diabetics or any one wanting to cut out sugar. Also, very refreshing and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. (6oz) strawberry jello (i use sugar free)
  • 2 pints strawberries, cleaned, hulled and crushed or put through food processor
  • 1 - angel food cake, broken into chunks
  • 1 - 8 oz. container cool whip, (i use sugar free)

How To Make strawberries, jello and angel cake

  • Step 1
    Make jello according to pkg. directions, stir in crushed strawberries. Refrigerate until jello is thick and partially jelled; stir to distribute strawberries. In large bowl or triffle dish, layer angel food cake chunks, jello and cool whip; repeat until all ingredients are used. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
