A friend recently asked me to make his partner a star shape chocolate cake for her birthday. Easy, I thought. I'll just buy myself the appropriate cake tin. I actually ended up buying star shaped cookie cutters - oops! So I had to make this star shape myself. Turned out quite well really. Come and see the end result.

- 4 cups white sugar
- 3 1/2 cups plain flour
- 11 1/2 cups cocoa
- 3 teaspoons bicarbonate soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 - eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup strawberry, raspberry and loganberry tea
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
