- 5 - egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- - dash of salt
- 5 tablespoons cold water
- 5 - beaten egg whites
- 1 cup flour
How To Make sponge cake

Step 1Beat egg yolks until thick, add sugar gradually. Add water 1 T. at a time, beating after each. Add dry ingredients all at once. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
