How to Make Sponge Cake
- Separate eggs and stir yokes just enough to break skins. Add water, stir in sifted sugar.
- Beat until thick and lemon-colored. Sift flour several times; add.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into ungreased loaf pan. - Bake for about 60 minutes.
