Ingredients

  • 6 - eggs
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar or( splenda sugar and 1tsp. stevia)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or light salt

How To Make sponge cake

  • Step 1
    Separate eggs and stir yokes just enough to break skins. Add water, stir in sifted sugar.
  • Step 2
    Beat until thick and lemon-colored. Sift flour several times; add. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into ungreased loaf pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake for about 60 minutes.
