Ingredients
- 2 cups flour(sifted)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups sugar or splenda sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon light salt
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
How To Make sponge cake

Step 1Sifted flour and baking powder several times. Stir egg yolks with water until light and thick. Add half the sugar gradually and continue beating.

Step 2Fold in the flour and baking powder. Beat egg whites stiffly with salt and beat balance of sugar with them. Add flavoring. Fold this mixuture into batter.

Step 3Spread in ungreased loaf pan. Bake for about 60 minutes. Cool in pan.
