Got this recipe from a friend while stationed in Germany 2001. Very good and better with age.

    self rising flour

    cooking oil

  • 1 tsp
  • 2 jar(s)
    strained plums or peaches (small jars baby food)

How to Make Spice Cake


  1. Mix oil, eggs, and sugar in large mixing bowl.
  2. Add baby food, spices and vanilla.
  3. Add self rising flour and mix well.
  4. Bake in prepared bunt pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Freezes well.
