sour cream loaf

This is an easy, basic, pound cake. The recipe makes 2-3 loaves depending on the size of your pan. My handwritten recipe has the name Debbie Lutz on it but I don't know who that is so I'm not sure where I got this recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 pint sour cream
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 pound butter or margarine (i use butter)
- 4 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla (do not use imitation, ever!)
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon
How To Make sour cream loaf

Step 1Preheat over to 325 degrees

Step 2Grease 2 or 3 loaf pans

Step 3Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy

Step 4Mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl.

Step 5Add vanilla, almond and sour cream to butter mixture. Mix until well combined

Step 6Add flour mixture in gradually, mixing well after each addition.

Step 7Pour into greased loaf pans.

Step 8Sprinkle tops with cinnamon and sugar.

Step 9Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour until pick comes out clean.

Step 10Let cool on wire rack before removing from pans.
