My cousin martha surprised me with this elegant and simple dessert..you will fool your guest,,they will never suspect the soda cracker filling..it taste like a good oatmeal cookie..

3 - egg whites
15 - saltine crackers
1 cup sugar
1 cup walnuts

How To Make soda cracker torte

Step 1

whip 3 egg whites to a stiff meringue..add sugar..fold in crushed saltine crackers and chopped nuts

Step 2

pour into spring pan..bake at 350 for 45 minutes
Step 3

serve with a dollop of whipped cream...good flavor..don"t be afraid..
