  • 1 box
    german chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar(s)
    salted carmel toping
  • 8 oz
    cool whip
  • 2
    skor candy bars

How to Make Salted Carmel Cake


  1. Mix cake according to package directions. I substituted cold coffee for the water.
  2. After removing the cake from the oven poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
  3. Pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over the warm cake.
  4. Next pour the carmel sauce over the sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch or two salt over the carmel.
  6. When the cake is cool cover with the container of Cool Whip.
  7. Chop the SKOR bars and sprinkle on top of Cool Whip.
  8. Store in the refrigerator.
