Ingredients
- RUSSIAN CAKE
- 1 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 1/4 cups bowling water
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour, self rising
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- TOPPING RECIPE
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 stick butter at room temperature
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
How To Make russian cake

Step 1Mix Oatmeal and bowling water together in bowl, and let stand 20 minutes

Step 2Cream together: Butter, brown/white sugars and eggs.

Step 3Stir in oatmeal

Step 4Add flour, vailla and cinnamon. Mix well

Step 5Coat 9 X 13 cake pan with cooking spray. Bake at 350 derees for 25 - 30 minutes

Step 6Mix together all ingredients for topping.

Step 7Spread topping on warm cake

Step 8Place cake under broiler to brown topping.
