    chopped pecans
  • 1
    small box of vanilla instant pudding
  • 2/3 c
    cold water
  • 1/2 c
    dark rum
  • 1
    box yellow cake mix
  • 4
  • 1/2 c
    cokking oil
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 c

How to Make Rum Cake


  1. Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan. Sprinkle nuts evently in the bottom.
  2. Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, 1/2 cup of cold water, oil and 1/4 cup rum.
  3. Pour mixture over pecans and bake at 350 for 1 hr.
  4. While cake is baking prepare glaze by melting butter and adding reamining 1/4 cup water, suger and 1/4 cup rum.
  5. Remove cake from oven and pour glaze over cake while still in pan. When cake is cool, turn onto serving plate.
