    chopped honey roasted peanuts
  • 3/4 c
    crushed root beer candies
  • 1 box
    German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c
    water
  • 3
    egg whites
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 1 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tsp
    root beer concentrate
  • ROOT BEER FROSTING
  • 1 tube
    frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1
    packet instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 3/4 c
    chilled root beer

How To Make root beer peanut butter cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    To prepare the cake, grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Add the chopped peanuts and crushed root beer candies; mix well.

    Combine the cake mix, water, egg whites, oil, peanut butter and root beer concentrate in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer on low speed until moistened, about 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

    Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    To prepare the root beer frosting, combine the whipped topping, cream cheese, vanilla pudding mix, heavy cream, and root beer in a medium bowl and mix together until smooth.
