rhubarb dumpcake
This is a creamy pudding like dessert that is good with whipping cream, a little heavy cream or icecream. I made some changes to my grandma's Rhubarb Torte recipe and didn't really think torte fit the recipe so changed it to a dumpcake.

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh rhubarb, washed and cut up
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water, minus 1 teaspoon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 package (3oz) strawberry jello
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter, cut in small pieces
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
How To Make rhubarb dumpcake

Step 1In a bowl combine rhubarb, sugar, water, and vanilla.

Step 2Sprinkle jello over this

Step 3Put mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.

Step 4Sprinkle cake Mix on top of fruit mixture.

Step 5Scatter butter pieces over cake mix.

Step 6Sprinkle with mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
