Ingredients
- CAKE
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; set aside
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large egg
- 16 ounces can pumpkin; not pie mix
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- TOPPING
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup chpped nuts of choice
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons butter; cold
How To Make pumpkin cake with crumb topping

Step 1Combine flour, soda, baking powder, and salt into one bowl. Set aside the cinnamon.

Step 2In large bowl with mixer on low speed add butter, brown sugar, and sugar.

Step 3Add eggs; one at a time. Beat well after adding each egg.

Step 4Add can of pumpkin, vanilla extract.

Step 5Add flour mixture slowly as you beat until smooth.

Step 6Spoon into sprayed or oiled 9x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until test done. *Crumb topping the following steps.

Step 7With pastry blender or large fork blend until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle on cake batter.
