NOTE: This is the optional recipe to go with the "Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake" recipe that I have already posted on Just A Pinch...make this dessert topping after the cheesecake has chilled for atleast 24 hours. makes 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make praline topping

Step 1Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat; stirring often

Step 2Then boil while stirring occasionally for 1 minute

Step 3Remove from heat

Step 4Gradually whip in sugar and vanilla until smooth

Step 5Let stand for 5 minutes while whisking occasionally

Step 6Use immediately as an optional ingredient to "Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake"
