Poppy Seed Cake
This is a simple and tasty cake- the lemon glaze makes it even better!
18 ozwhite or yellow cake mix
1/2 cvegetable oil
3 ozpkg. instant lemon or coconut cream pudding mix
3 Tbsppoppy seeds
1 cpowdered sugar
1 Tbsplemon juice
1 tspmelted butter
How to Make Poppy Seed Cake
- Mix cake mix, dry instant pudding and poppy seed together in a large mixing bowl. Add water and oil. mix well; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour batter into well greased and floured Bundt pan.
Bake at 350^ for 45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.
Allow to cool in pan 15 minutes, then remove.
Drizzle with a mixture of the powdered sugar, lemon juice and butter.
