Ingredients For plum cake

2 1/3 call purpose flour
-
2 1/2 tspbaking powder

3/4 tspsalt
-
3/4 c+ 3 tablespoon sugar

1 stickbutter, softened
-
3/4 cmilk
-
2 lgeggs
-
8or 10 fresh plums pitted and halved

2 tspcinnamon, ground
- TOPPING
-
1 call purpose flour
-
1/2 csugar
-
1/2 cbutter, cold cubed
How To Make plum cake

1Lightly coat a 13"x9" pan with cooking spray. Heat oven to 350F degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and 3/4 cup sugar. Add 1/2 cup softened butter, milk and eggs. Beat at medium speed 4 minutes.

2Pour batter into prepared pan. Place plums on top, cut side up, pushing down slightly into batter. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; sprinkle over plums.

3TOPPING: In small bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over top.

4Bake about 45 minutes or until a toothpick come out clean. ( I bake little bit longer to get the topping turn golden. )

5Let the cake cool in the pan so the plum juices will be reabsorbed to create a moist cake. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Cut and serve.
