This recipe was given to my mother by a friend. The only change I like to make about it is I prefer to use the yellow butter cake mix. This is a very delicious cake for company coming or to take to a church get together.

How to Make Plantation Pecan Cake


  1. Amount of coconut and pecans you add is to your own taste.
  2. Stir with a fork. Do not mix with a mixer.
  3. Bake in a Bundt or Tube pan after spraying with Baker's Joy or after greasing and flouring the cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1 hour 15 minutes until done.
