Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 3 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 3 cups raw or canned pears
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
How To Make pear cake

Step 1Cream together sugar and oil. Add eggs one at at ime, mixing well after each. Set aside

Step 2Sift flour with cinnamon, salt and soda, 3 times then add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla, mix. Add coconut, dates, pecans and pears - stirring by hand.

Step 3Pour into greased and floured bundt or tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1.5 - 2 hours until cake tests done with wooden toothpick. Cool on rack at least 15 minutes in pan then turn out and cool completely.
