Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups water
- FROSTING
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1Mix together all cake ingredients and blend well with electric mixer or wire whip.

Step 2Pour into ungreased 9 X13 - inch pan.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until center of cake springs back when touched.

Step 4TO MAKE FROSTING, cream together butter and confectioners sugar.
