Ingredients

3 c
sifted all purpose flour
2 c
sugar
4 Tbsp
cocoa powder
2 Tbsp
white vinegar
2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2 tsp
vanilla extract
2/3 c
vegetable oil
2 c
water

FROSTING

1/2 c
butter
3 c
confectioners' sugar
3-4 Tbsp
milk
1 tsp
vanilla extract

How to Make Pam Glicker's Vinegar Cake W/ Buttercream Frosting

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together all cake ingredients and blend well with electric mixer or wire whip.
  • 2Pour into ungreased 9 X13 - inch pan.
  • 3Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until center of cake springs back when touched.
  • 4TO MAKE FROSTING, cream together butter and confectioners sugar.
  • 5Gradually add milk and vanilla; continue mixing until smooth and creamy
