orange tang cake
This is for a snack-type one layer cake. Easily doubled and cooked in two 8-inch cake pans if you want a layer cake. Cake flour gives a lighter cake, but all-purpose flour can be used.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups cake flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup tang powder
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/8 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
How To Make orange tang cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F. Coat a 8-inch round cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2In a medium mixing bowl, mix the flour, bsking powder, salt, tang powder and sugar. Stir in water.

Step 3With an electric mixer, mix in add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.

Step 4Pour into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 5Cool in pan on wire rack.
