These are so easy to make that when I get a last minute call from one of our kids, friends or family I whip them up and they never seem to last. Daddy always has to have the first one while they are still hot.

- 1 cup cooking oil
- 6 tablespoons cocoa, unsweetened
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons light karo syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
How To Make one bowl brownies

Step 1Preheat oven at 350 degrees (325 degrees if using a glass pan)

Step 2Grease or spray 8 x 12 pan. Put oil in a bowl. Stir in cocoa, eggs, sugar, Karo and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt into cocoa mix. Stir in nuts if you are using them.

Step 3Pour into baking dish and bake.

Step 4They are chewier if you do not over beat or over bake.
