Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup cinnamon applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups oats old fashion
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (stone ground if possible)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 - bag of hazel nuts
  • 12 large marshmallows (cut up) or about 30 little ones.

How To Make oatmeal cookiecake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven - 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Mix each ingredent in well before mixing the next.
  • Step 3
    Add vanilla and stop.
  • Step 4
    Mix in seperate bowl very well; oats, flour, baking soda and hazel nuts.
  • Step 5
    Then add dry to wet, mix well.
  • Step 6
    Grease sheet cake pan lightly.
  • Step 7
    Spread oatmeal mix evenly in pan.
  • Step 8
    Bake for 25min, then remove place cut up marshmellos on top of oatmeal mix. Bake another 20min under foil.
  • Step 9
    Rest for 5min.
