Ingredients

1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c
sugar
3/4 c
cinnamon applesauce, unsweetened
1/4 c
water
1 large
egg
1 tsp
vanilla extract
3 c
oats old fashion
1 c
whole wheat flour (stone ground if possible)
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/4
bag of hazel nuts
12 large
marshmallows (cut up) or about 30 little ones.

How to Make Oatmeal Cookiecake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven - 350 degrees.
  • 2Mix each ingredent in well before mixing the next.
  • 3Add vanilla and stop.
  • 4Mix in seperate bowl very well; oats, flour, baking soda and hazel nuts.
  • 5Then add dry to wet, mix well.
  • 6Grease sheet cake pan lightly.
  • 7Spread oatmeal mix evenly in pan.
  • 8Bake for 25min, then remove place cut up marshmellos on top of oatmeal mix. Bake another 20min under foil.
  • 9Rest for 5min.
