Newingham's Bakery Caramel Frosting

- packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c
- 1/4 c
- 1 tsp
- 1 1/2-2 c
- powdered sugar
How to Make Newingham's Bakery Caramel Frosting
- 1Combine brown sugar, butter and milk in deep saucepan without Teflon as you will be using beaters. Bring to a low boil. Cook and stir 2 minutes.
- 2Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool to lukewarm.
- 3Beat in powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- 4Makes enough for 1 1/2-2 dozen cupcakes or one 9x13 cake.
