1/2 tspbaking powder
1/2 lbbutter (2 sticks)
1 csweet milk
How to Make MRS. BRANNING'S CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE
- Sift dry ingredients, adding a little at a time to the creamed butter and Crisco, along with a little milk, and one egg at a time, until well blended.
- Grease and flour cake pan. Bake at 275-300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR UNTIL BAKING TIME IS UP!
