When I was a kid my mom made this frosting all the time. I loved it.

Ingredients

2 large egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

How To Make mom's homemade fluffy white frosting

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a stainless steel bowl.

Step 2

Place over boiling water. Beat with electric beater until frosting forms stiff peaks. About 7 minutes
Step 3

Stir in vanilla. Store in fridge
