mom's blueberry cake

Growing up we called this "blueberry pudding" and it was eaten in a bowl covered with sugar and milk. I never ate it that way, it's good all by itself! My grandson requests this for his birthday cake!

Ingredients
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 pinch salt
- - sanding sugar or regular sugar
How To Make mom's blueberry cake

Step 1Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except blueberries.

Step 2Gently fold in blueberries with a spoon or spatula. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar if using.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
