My mom use to always make these little things for my birthday because they were so easy to hold and eat.

yield 24 cupcake cones

Ingredients

1 box cake mix, any flavor
- eggs, water and oil (for the cake mix)
1 - container frosting, any flavor
24 - ice cream cones
- any candies of your choice, for topping (optional)

How To Make momma's "ice cream" cone cupcakes

Step 1

Mix the cake mix, eggs, water and oil together, blending well.

Step 2

Heat the oven as said in the directions on the box.
Step 3

Fill each cone half way up with cake batter, placing the cones on a baking sheet. Bake until toothpick is inserted into middle and comes out clean or when cake springs back after being pressed.
Step 4

Take cupcake cones out of the oven and let cool, frosting the cupcakes and decorate however you like. Enjoy!
