I can't really take credit for this recipe b/c it's well known. However I don't see one on JAP so I thought I'd add one

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces chocolate
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup, light
  • - plastic wrap

How To Make modeling chocolate

  • Step 1
    Melt chocolate in a double broiler or in microwave and stir till smooth
  • Step 2
    warm corn syrup in microwave till slightly warm
  • Step 3
    stir corn syrup into chocolate and mix well....the chocolate will thicken up and turn into a dough
  • Step 4
    knead it a little then put it in some plastic wrap and let set for several hours or overnight
  • Step 5
    Work chocolate with hands to soften...warm hands will soften the dough and cold hands will not.
