  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • MINT PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING
  • 1 tube whipped topping
  • 2 packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons mint extract

How To Make minty peanut butter poke cake

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add crushed peanut butter sandwich cookies and peanut butter chips.
  • Step 2
Combine cake mix, water, egg whites, vegetable oil, and peanut butter together in a large bowl using an electric mixer on low speed until the batter is smooth, about 5 minutes. Pour the batter into the prepared dish.
  • Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step 4
Whisk sweetened condensed milk, mint extract, and chocolate syrup together in a medium bowl until smooth.
  • Step 5
Poke the holes into the cake, with a large end of the wooden spoon. Pour the chocolate mint mixture over the holes of the cake. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Step 6
For the Mint Peanut Butter Frosting: combine whipped topping, cream cheese, peanut butter, and mint extract together in a medium bowl, and whisk until blended.
  • Step 7
Spread the frosting over the cake. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Garnish with mint leaves.
